You should just get a key from a third-party site like g_2_a or kinguin - in fact, it's %50 off right now on kinguin so your wish is granted. ;)
I have seen keys on third party sites, but I tend to shy away from those except in extreme conditions. I'll look out for a sale though - if it gets a 50% off sale I might pick it up at some point. I would definitely pick it up at 75% off. Thanks for the advice.
Thanks, that's not a bad resource for me.
It isn't that I can't afford it at its full price by any means, and I'm glad that those who never had played Dark Souls on PC back in the day were able to get a better working version.
I just cannot, personally, justify paying $40 for what effectively is just a few graphical improvements - for a game from 10+ years ago. It isn't like Demon's Souls where they MASSIVELY improved the graphical quality to the point that it looks basically like a whole new game, the improvements were overall quite minor.
Well, and for a "working online" (even though they made an active decision to not fix the online in the previous game in favor of this one).
As a side note, I really hope that Bloodborne and Demon's Souls come to PC at some point. I can play them on consoles by borrowing my friend's PS5 or PS4 (or playing the OLD Demon's Souls on my PS3, though I need to fix it up a bit), but nowadays I'm pretty exclusively a PC gamer for a large number of reasons.
You can emulate Demon Souls. PS4 emulation is in its infancy so don't expect Bloodborne to be available any time soon. But hey, progress is progress.
Well, if I were to play Demon's Souls I would want to probably play the remaster at this point anyway. I got roughly halfway through the original on PS3 about 7 years ago, giving up on the Flamelurker boss because the run back to that boss is way too long and my build up until that point (heavy armor and a heavy shield I used to block) didn't work. I could go naked and roll around, but after a while I just moved on to other games.
I'm going to be playing Armored Core 6 in a week anyway, so I'll be busy for a while.
