You need only to figure out how to switch your weapons, that's to find in your key settings. Idk the default controls for this, I changed it to C and V.
2. Equip the Pyromancy Flame.
3. Press the light attack button.
Tips: You'll find both a Pyromancy Flame and a pyromancy in the first level, assuming you chose Pyromancer as your starting class. Pyromancies don't have many casts, so you'll want to equip the Pyromancy Flame in the second slot of your left or right hand and only use it in place of your weapon where the range or fire damage are advantageous. If you're stuck at the first boss, you're not meant to fight him right away. There's a little door to the far left of the boss arena that lets you circumvent it for now. You'll collect some items and find gameplay tips to help you with the fight.
Mechanical spoiler: the Pyromancy Flame says it scales with Intelligence, but that's only for the crummy punch you throw when using the heavy attack button. One of the main benefits of pyromancy is that their damage only scales from the strength of your Pyromancy Flame, leaving you to invest your other stats freely. You'll be able to upgrade your Pyromancy Flame later.
