Tried this game, it was rubbish

Not sure what the hype is around this game, lore is trash the difficulty is based on poor clunky combat design with bad animations it makes NRS garbage animations in mortal kombat look like world class stuff.

No matter how far I reached and how much I played it just felt like a high school project put together for a quick cash grab.

NOT impressed one bit. If your selling point is difficulty because you cannot implement a half decent fighting mechanic control system then I am sorry but that is NOT how difficulty works.

What else, locked 60 FPS, heard this trash used to be locked to 30 FPS in the past, and NO there is no justification to locking this to 60 FPS, even Fighting Games like Tekken 7 which are by all justification locked to 60 FPS because game logic is locked to 60 FPS can still be played at 120 FPS with a mod and interpolation.

A crappy RPG like this has no business being locked to 60 FPS, another massive fail from this game/. Mouse and Keyboard support is pure rubbish in this game also


Difficulty that impresses me is like Star Craft or fighting games like Street Fighter 4 and Tekken with 1 Frame Links.

Had some cool music at the start menu tho but that was that.

Wondering if Dark Souls 3 and or Sekiro or Elden Ring is any better?

There is nothing difficult about this game. Purposely making a terrible clunky combat mechanic for artificial difficulty doesn't make your game "difficult"

Another thing I seriously disliked about this game is the extremely slow movement speed, pressing Shift doesn't actually do anything but I watched a speed run and I noticed a gun took our his armor and he had only flesh on and he ran pretty quickly not sure if that is the method to running in this game.

Still don't get what the hype was about, I reckon it's just a nostalgia fan base loyalty thing but everything just feels waaaay too dated for me.

I wonder if Sekiro, DS3 and Elden Ring is any better and more modern?

Dark Souls is not a game for everyone.

If you are looking for a game to be hard you can get easily disappointed with Souls.
If you want a game taking you by the hand and telling the lore, wrong game again.

This is a 12 years old game. You wont find new things there dude. The game is as old as Skyrim.

About the speed, yeah, DS3 is the fastest of Souls.

Hope you find games to enjoy. Not all the games are for you and I'm sorry for you not having a great time with Dark Souls 1.

You have over 1 k hours in lost ark but you arent able to dodge in this game ? Wowzer. Controls are bad. Sure. But you are obviously baiting with your exaggerations.

This game is over 10 years old. Ofc it's clunky, with slow combat design. It also has it's merits. If you cant see them. I'm wondering why you are here if you are not just baiting.

Still interesting to see that after all these years. People are still not tired to repeat the same garbage again and again and again. Thats a pretty annoying side effect of the from software game forums.

Yeah this game wouldnt appeal to you because you like casual games, Tekken 7 has easy combo mode and SF4 is mid and starcraft is purely based around metas, Its not that hard
