I was running around blight town....i could see more at the bottom or near the bottom but i couldn't find a way down! the pain oh the damn pain, i got too confident and i've got a set of weapons i'm really enjoying and i've been dying less but then it happened.....i forgot how many souls i had on me and i edged off a platform thinking i could drop below.

IT WAS A LIE! it was just DEATH! i lost 10,000 SOULS! WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING....my real soul is now fragmented and i slammed my head on my monitor.
Why do i go on with this pain....this DAMN game.

Well i'm still going and every damn stupid hollow i see is going to get a slash in the face and an arrow in the gullet....i will take my anger out on them i don't care anymore.

I will mourn for your loss too o.O i can't imagine such pain lol. its ok i'm glad for the one up beceause i know at least i'm not insane for continuing to play for several more hours despite losing all that.

I recall being upset when I lost 500K over the course of a day.
The next day I made 1M.

It wasn't called dark souls prepare to die for nothing. Losing 10k really is nothing, did you die a second time as well as thats how you lose them permanently

yes i died a second time on my way back to them ;-; this damn game its so frustrating but i've found so many cool items risking and going places like ledges n such i hate the heights i really HATE heights but everytime i go on hard high parts or weird paths i find really cool gear.

I have lost billions at this point, maybe even 10s of billions. I once had a big ragequit after losing 8000, another time I lost 60 soft humanity and 3.5mil in soul to bonewheels in the Catacombs and lost my ♥♥♥♥...over the 60 humanity.

Now I do challenge runs where my massively under-leveled sorcerer has nothing left to buy and gets around 100,000 soul per boss, and I just let it go.

what the hell your thingy is a skull :o your level thing, also billions? is it actually possible to accumulate that much? or i guess whats the max amount?
idk even what to spend it all on sometimes when it gets high but ive only reached around 200k but that was on my way to the last boss door now i have to make my way over there to fight /: cos it was blocked with yellow mist and....yea well you know the rest lol.

That skull shows that character is cursed, allowing me to have less HP and thus making power within's HP drain "negatable"(it is max HP% based) with two Sanctus shields(a bunch of pro level strats involving a glass canon setup).

I've lost billions "at this point". Either the max is 99,999,999 or 999,999,999, but I have lost billions if combining all I have ever lost.

Always level up your weapons, armour and level, also buying the items from merchants.

A yellow fog gate means it is inaccessible until you "place the lord vessel". Then there is a cutscene showing those gates turn white...I think, it has been so very long since I watched the cutscenes.
