LMAO biggest joke, I still get hit by swords that should by no means hit me. This is BS.

They have dedicated servers for matchmaking. Which means connecting to other players is significantly faster than it was in the original Dark Souls. Once you're in game with them, however, the gameplay between you two is handled through a p2p system, same as always.

Actually, I'm not. I platinumed the original Dark Souls on PS3. I had just hoped the remaster would fix a lot of these issues.

This. There isn't a dedicated server.
