Are there NPC dark spirit invaders in this?

I know that DS2 and DS 3 have them... cant remember if DS has them or no. Just fought one and it seemed like it was a CPU.

Yes but not a lot of them. Although Kirk invades 3 times.

Maneater Mildred in Blighttown and Four Kings

There are npc invaders, most of them no problem. Maneater mildred is worth getting invaded by in blighttown so you can summon her at the boss, paladin leeroy is worth getting invaded by in tomb of giants, since after nito you get his armor set, makes seeth and anything with curse a cakewalk.

Kirk is the guy to watch out for, not too hard except for right before the bed of chaos boss, there is a pyromancer there that will mess you up if you let him, and kirk likes to spawn right as you are fighting him.

As they only appear while you are human, and DS1 you only reason to be human is for co-op/PvP, it's a lot easier to overlook/miss NPC invaders without a wiki.

mildred in blight town swamp

jeremiah in painted world graveyard

leroy in tomb of giants (just before passage to nito)

chester in oolacile township (just beyond 1st bonfire there)

There is also Chester who invades in Olacile

And the chester invader is useless too. He doesn't drop anything and only wants to waste your time.
I avoide him : kill the NPC Chester to get a nice armour, then he can't invade you anymore.
