not gaining humanity? [Solved]
anyone else putting their sign down to help with boss fights and not gaining humanity? I just helped two guys kill 4 kings. Both times I had 4 humanity in my world but only 3 when summoned into the game putting me back at 4 after the boss. Unless I'm missing something seems like it keeps taking a humanity from me each time I get summoned.

You don't get actual humanity as an item. It's instead added to the counter at the top left.

Edit: Disregard that, I entirely missed half of the post. I noticed that too, when I get summoned it seems to bring me in as a human, essentially taking a humanity. Not sure where the extra one goes though.

Yeah in DS1 you only get liquid humanity for it.

That said, if you are beating the boss it should be going up. When I went on a binge killing Quelaag as a white sign earlier it went up, for example.

I wonder if there is something screwy with 4 kings in particular,or if you are being hit by some kind of larger bug.

Yeah its strange, last night I was farming 4 kings so I could start the mass Darkwraith genocide and it was working fine but after loading up today it keeps putting me down one when I get into a hosts game. Just tried reversing my hollowing gonna get summoned again and see what happens.

Well either using a bonfire or reversing my hollowing seemed to fix it. Odd this will be my third time getting 100% on this game and I've never had this particular oddity

Edit: nevermind still doing it. Seems it does not want me to have more than 4 humanity
