First Time DS player - mods?

So i hade PTD edition in my library for years. Decided I wanted to go actually play DS. Bought the Remastered for the hell of it [Apparantly QOL fixes are worth it]
Any recommended mods for first time players of DSR?

This isn't ptde where you have to install 29304782389772893 mods to get it to work properly so no mods needed.

Also you get banned for mods so yeah.

Just set it to play offline by default and you're fine.

You can mod as long as your not online, basically because if someone comes into your world or someone else does and your modded, Bandai can see that, Even go offline on steam to be even safer and backup your saves that were used when the game was unmodded, and switch out the mod gameplay files after you have done, basically hide it as much as you can, There is another thing you can do called Family share on steam games up to 5 accounts. So that is another option.

Various Texture Overhaul mods like "Sen's Fortress High Resolution Texture Overhaul", various Evie's mods like "Evie's 2k Estus Retexture", "Anor Londo Better Distance Textures", "Improved Face Textures REMASTERED", "HD Summon Signs and Player Messages", "Enhanced Lighting and Effects - Dark Souls Remastered".
In other words visual improvements, I don't like nor see the reason for mods that add a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ or change gameplay like "Daughters of Ash" not to mention they will probably get you banned while with graphic mods you're relatively safe. Relatively being important word, just because it's uncommon and I for once wasn't banned doesn't mean it can't happen.

For your first playthrough go for a quality build. Which is main focus on str and dex.

I've never encountered a single hacker in my 100+ hours. You should be fine.

I´d recommend playing offline too just because there are still alot of Cheeselords and Twinks online especially in certain Areas of the game. Also no Summon cheese for the bosses.

And after you beat the game get a few friends together and do a playthrough in co-op.
