I'm getting bad framerates when its plugged into the tv and i am also getting input lag from the controller. Pretty much close to unplayable. I one shot gargoyles and the stray demon in handheld mode but i had like 20 attempts on plugged in with no luck.
I think you just aren't used to the 30 fps and you're over dramatizing it with comments like 5-10 fps. Even going from 19-29 fps is a massive difference.
I highly doubt you're getting anything less than 30 fps. Maybe an occasional dip depending on that games optimisation, but that's about it.
If you think the switch doesnt experience frequent fps dips then you just have absolutely no idea what you are talking about :P Sorry
Enjoy your life playing "5-10 fps games" looool
To bring you up to speed: You even get consistent 30FPS in Blighttown. It only dips in particle-heavy scenarios, like the Sif-fight and that's "only" into the low to mid 20's. Suboptimal, but not the default gameplay experience and still far superior to 7th gen consoles. You might be irked by the frame-pacing issues, but as you can see in that video, that still isn't "5-10FPS" and in fact, some of those frame-time spikes are less than 33.3ms.
Ah the fallacy of the argumentum ad populum. Gotta love it lol. Its almost as if someone just outed you in not knowing wtf you are talking about eh? :P
i'm sure you also think locking frames to 60 means you get a solid 60 fps all the time :D
Why do you even act like you actually know what you are talking about when its so obvious you are talking out your ass?
You do realize that every switch isnt going to get the same output right? Stuff like age means natural degredation? Tests like that are done in extremely controlled enviroments?
Because i am warning people about bad performance on a console?
Odd.
