But you'll need a divine weapon later. I recommend to buy a Reinforced Club and make it divine. ( Or wait until you find an occult club later and downgrade it to divine)
Good move for Paladin builds.
i always do divine, immediately finish catacombs, and change it from divine back to another upgrade path.
if the answer is no, don't touch it.
Depends on how you intend to progress with your build
if you plan to keep STR&DEX at base requirement for the Claymore and pump up Faith, then by all means go Divine, but If you are aiming at raising them further, keep it at the normal upgrade path, and just use a backup weapon for when you need the Divine modifier
