Is it useful making Claymore divine as a knight?
I am newbie to this game but i made some progress where i could turn my claymore to divine, but there is one thing i wonder; I am knight but claymore's damage decreased while magic increased after turning into divine, so is this a right move?

Divine was the only ember i could find, I just wanted to try what would happen.

I wouldn't infuse the Claymore to divine. You should better go the normal upgrade path, then it scales with your str. and dex. Claymore is a very good weapon for a new player.
But you'll need a divine weapon later. I recommend to buy a Reinforced Club and make it divine. ( Or wait until you find an occult club later and downgrade it to divine)

Only if you plan on pumping faith up higher than your strength/dex. Otherwise you'll want to go for regular upgrades.

Good move for Paladin builds.

There are a couple areas where you will be at a disadvantage without a divine weapon, but unless you are increasing your faith stat, there are far better choices for your primary weapon. If you like the claymore as your primary I'd recommend buying a bastard sword from Andre and infusing that to divine instead. It has a very similar moveset and damage output.

3000+hrs 30+ characters here:

i always do divine, immediately finish catacombs, and change it from divine back to another upgrade path.

Is that where Pinwheel hang? I have already completed there if there is nothing I missed. I killed boss and left that area, then I am gonna check for lightining ember if I can find.

are you using faith?
if the answer is no, don't touch it.

Depends on how you intend to progress with your build

if you plan to keep STR&DEX at base requirement for the Claymore and pump up Faith, then by all means go Divine, but If you are aiming at raising them further, keep it at the normal upgrade path, and just use a backup weapon for when you need the Divine modifier
