I accidentally killed Andre.
Will there be other blacksmiths? Or I have to play with +0 weapon forever?

UPD. Found Rickert! Hell yeah! He is really close.

There will be more, but you've lost access to some upgrades.

Since you're new to the game and only played 2 hours, I recommend to start over with a new char. Yes, there are other blacksmiths, but they can not do the same like Andre, he is the most important one.
For future: in case you accidently hit a NPC, run away and visit the pardoner Oswald in Gargoyle Church. He can give you absolution.

But I got black knight sword drop on this playthrough man, it will be so sad to start over.

Well, that's your decision, but without Andre you won't be able to make divine weapons or weapons from boss souls ( need +10 weapons). Your Black Knight Sword you can upgrade with the other blacksmiths.

Thanks for information, I think I will proceed with this weapon.

If you really need to upgrade your weapon I recommend visiting the Blacksmith in Catacombs ( near the grave yard place with Skeletons ). First make your way to the first bonfire and from that bonfire you can just run past everything on your way to the Blacksmith. It is a bit tricky and you have to hit 2 switchs to open the path to Blacksmith. Once you are at that blacksmith , you can just upgrade whatever weapons you want and just use a homeward bone to travel back to the previous bonfire. From there going back to Firelink shrine is quite easy. Whatever you do , DO NOT rest at the Bonfire near that Catacombs Blacksmith or you have to manually walk your way to firelink shrine.

If you have bought the Weapon Smithbox from Andre ( which allows you to upgrade weapons at bonfire ) , then that should be enough till you reach Anor Londo and visit the Blacksmith there. Do note that you can only upgrade a weapon till +5 , to upgrade past that you have to visit a blacksmith so that he can ascend your weapon and allow you to upgrade till +10 , +15 etc. But for Black Knight's sword , you can only upgrade it till +5.

I know that Black knight's sword can be tempting , but believe me there are tons of great weapons in the game. Experiment with different weapons. Almost all of them are viable and good enough ( as you upgrade them ) to see you through the game.

The first and easiest blacksmith to visit is neither in Catacombs nor in Anor Londo. It's Rickert of Vinheim at the begin of New Londo Ruins, you only need to use the elevator down from Firelink Shrine to get to him.

That is a ton of information! Thanks a lot! Will try to go to graveyard blacksmith.

lol I am an idiot. I must admit I totally forgot about that guy. Let me just delete my comment haha.
Too late, already got quoted. But don't worry, your comment still contains lot of useful informations.

DS1 has the much better world design imo, and how the levels are connected to eachother is impressive. Take your time to explore every corner in the early areas and find all shortcuts / elevators / open the doors.

How can you accidentally 'kill' Andre? You would have to hit him multiple times, and that's no 'accident' then, LMAO... :D

But yeah, I know, I hit him once by mistake as well, starting dialogue (playing KB&M maybe?), but had earlier save file that wasn't so painful as restart. Yeah, I would consider restart if you have no earlier save file, he's an important resource.

If you want to save your black Knight sword you can transfer it with the help of someone!

Sorry about that. Last time I visited that blacksmith was way back in 2018 when I was playing PTDE. Recently when I started the remastered version . I forgot about his entire existence till your comment reminded me of him haha. Didn't even explore the beginning section of New Londo and just sprinted past that section to New Londo centre or when visiting Valley of Drakes or Blighttown. I remember the Catacomb's one because of his badass entrance and because I am also one of those people who accidentally rested at his bonfire and had to manually walk back to Firelink.
Oh, I always run at first to New Londo Ruins, just to grap the Firekeeper Soul there.
And yes, I know the "fun" to rest at Catacombs bf too, as well as resting at Giant's Tomb bf early and then need 2 hours to make your way back. :epiczombie:

I LOVE that sword, was dropped to me on first play thru also, so lucky, and was in hand when killed an invader for first time (tho not my first invasion... :D) so I hear your pain.

But yes, somebody can coop with you and drop one for you if you restart. I'm willing to do it, but you'll need to rise to level of someone who has it. PM me if willing to try.
