Catacombs Door Won't Open

HI,

I'm having an issue where the catacombs door won't open. It's the door with the pyromancer enemy and the Bonfire next to the door. You have to travel a short distance from Firelink Shrine past a grave yard to get to it. I've tried restarting the game and making a new save but it doesn't work.

You can't pull the lever ? What happens when you touch the lever ?

When I pull the lever the something behind it will move, but when it's finished the door is still blocked but the lever has been pulled and I can't do anything with it again.

Hm, that must be a weird bug in your game. I couldn't find a solution searching online.
Since it happened already with 2 different chars, I would try to delete all saves, uninstall the game and reinstall after. Also verify the game cache in steam.

I tried all of these but none of them seem to work. I looked online but could only find 1 other person who had the same issue but had no responses to his post. I'll try it again and see if it does anything. If not I'll have to start with DS2 or DS3

I'm so sorry you couldn't solve your problem. That's such a bad game breaking bug, the only good thing you got it so early in your game. Well, I would submit a ticket to the Bandai Namco support, at least they should know it and maybe have an idea what you can do.
