can you ignore large ember if you have very large ember?

large ember is for +5 to +10, very large +10 to +15 so depends if your weapons is already at+11 range you won't need large ember, if not you'll need xD

If you want upgrade more weapons you'll need it. The blacksmith upgrades to +15 only when you got your weapons to +10 already.

We can not give a better answer, we don't know which weapons you already got and which you want upgrade. You'll also need some +10 weapons to get the Knights Honor achievement. I guess you'll need this large ember. I don't think you'll have issues to get it, the enemies in early ng+ are not so strong.

You need the large ember to use the very large ember, so no you can't "skip" it. Both embers are however optional.

You need the large ember for 99% of purposes.

The only exception I can think of would be if you have a weapon such as the Lightning Spear which can be downgraded to a +10 spear and then ascended with the very large ember to +11
