Getting poisoned? Get appropriate armor, shield, ring, and carry the moss.
i dont hate it its just i have absolutely no idea what to do there, i've been looking for a bonfire for like 20 minutes

You said before that you came in the 'easy' way, meaning from Firelink Shrine -> new Londo -> Valley of Drakes -> Blighttown, right?

If so, here's how to get to the bonfire:

1) Once you get past the Infected Barbarians to reach the wooden platform sections, keep looking for ladders downward. Ladders are usually marked with torches which make them easy to see
2) Eventually you will find a wooden elevator. Ride that down
3) This will put you just above the giant poison swamp.
4) Put one of the outer boundary walls of the swamp on your left and just follow the wall. You'll get to the small tunnel with the bonfire after only a few fights.

If you have the master key you can proceed throught Blighttown in the "easy" way, just go to "Firelink Shrine" and get the elevator down to "New Londo Ruins", after that take your right and go to "Valley of Drakes", cross the bridge and take your way to the right. Just a little tip, you can always jump to where you see a torch.
If you want proceed in "Blighttown" starting by "Depths", it will be very hard and it will take more time, i can try to help you if you reach the bonfire at the swamp.
Good luck

It is very easy to get lost down there, you have to sort of systematically investigate section by section to get a good mental map, even if you took the easy way.

No judgement, I take the key as a gift now as well after first play through in PTDE, but you really shouldn't in your first play through, you are just cheating yourself from all the game offers.

Do you still need help?
Assuming you arrived in Blighttown from the Depths, the bonfire you're looking for will be sitting on one of the stone bridge sections, NOT on the wood. Stay kinda near the top of the scaffolding and try to kill as many toxic dart shooters as you can while you wander around.

If you arrived from the Valley of the Drakes, just go down down down until you can't go down anymore, then go left. Your bonfire will be tucked away in a sewer grate.

upper blight town on ps3 was my least favorite area cause of performance etc but now its actually one of my favorite levels in ds1, the verticality is awesome

It's also one of my favorite areas. The only thing I have against it is that it's the third grimy/dirty themed level in a row, and I find that kind of boring. Other than that style quibble, I think it's one of the game's best designed areas, the difficulty is almost entirely fair, it encourages adaptation and new strategies compared to the previous zones, and the designers went out of their way to make sure that useful shields/clothes for the zone are available from either direction.

The boss is pretty great too. My only problem with her is that I don't think she should be immune to poison. Lore-wise we're told that her nearly identical sister was brought to death's door by poison/disease. Many other demons are also poisonable.
And game design-wise the player just got their first poison/toxic-inflicting weapons and items recently, so it would be satisfying to be able to put those to use against the boss.

But for some reason she's immune.

Farm the tree men or whatever it's called on Darkroot Garden until you get enough purple moss clumps. Walk with your shield up all the time and bring a bow to kill the snipers.
