you'll get the hang of it no doupt. :)
Strategy and patience is key the first times around the ruins if you dont know the enemy placement yet - running and weaving through the groups is a hassle.
agro those that are hard to reach and retreat into safe, open areas or long, straight pathways until they align with your swings - even backtracking a bit form time to time is the safest bet not to get trapped by the mobs hidden in the walls since they'll follow you forever. Best of luck!
oh yeah totally! The Zweihander makes easy work of the ghosts if you have the stats to wield it.
if you know the layout of the area via playing the game or research its quite easy to run past all but one of the ghosts
also while it may be costly using extra Transient curses you can always bait them out and run away when things get tough and heal
the recommended level for new londo ruins is level 50-70 your going there way to early.
dark souls has a funny thing where it just allows you to go into areas way too early than you suppose to.
you gonna hit a dead end once you beat that area anyway since you need an item to progress.
your next step is a fun place called blight town, there are 2 ways to get to blight town (3 if your starting gift was the master key)
the blacksmith sells and item called the crest of artorias which allows easy access to an area near the moonlight butterfly but it costs like 20,000 souls
i want to avoid spoiling it too much since exploration and getting lost is part of dark souls
but remember that bridge with the fire breathing dragon, there's a door near the start of that bridge, the key to the door is located near the area with the armoured boar/big metal pig thing
(you may have already got it, its called "basement key")
Yeah it is really confusing part.
You need to go to Lower Undead Burg.
The door that leads there is on the begining of the bridge with dragon. The key is some where after the pig and before Andre, after the big gate if I remeber correctly.
