It mostly depends on your play style; the amount of damage added won't change between weapons. This + iato = my favorite killing machine.

Any fast weapon is good. Straight swords and curved swords are the best

Scimitar and Falchion for low-equip/fast builds.

Claymore for medium builds.

Any ultra for heavy builds.

Uh well famously the Ricard's Rapier + CMW is a very deadly combo, particularly against players who have never played against it. The double R2 attack is like 6 attacks in quick succession, and as you can guess, they all get the full buff from CMW, resulting in...massive damage, to say the least. Again, only works on people who get caught off guard or don't understand how to fight against it.
