Why is this game never on sale?

Every Dark Soul, Bandai Namco game goes on sale at the same time but this game is never on sale. It's been two years since the release of remastered version, so I don't get it?

Same, i spent less on DS3: Deluxe and DS2: SOTFS together so there's no way im paying 40$ for a 10 year old game. If it doesn't go on sale on the Lunar New Year sale im just getting a key someplace else.

It's half price on HumbleBundle. They give you a steam key for the game. Just bought it.

I'm starting to think that it's got more to do with QLOC than Bandai. If it wasn't on sale while the entire Bandai catalogue was, that could explain it.

I don't believe a relatively small Polish studio can have so much say in Steam sales for major games. Not even developed by that studio, only remastered.
The legend has it QLOC are working on Bloodborne Remastered, I wonder how sales for that will look like.

Dumbest tactic ever. If you have any sales you should ALWAYS have the first game in a series on sale. People like to play games in order. You put the first on sale to hook them into the series… who does marketing over there? Clearly someone with questionable intelligence.

This game is an absolute steal at $30. It should be $60 since the game is still just as great as it was when it first released and is still a top tier game that you can put more time into than most $60 titles.

In short; The game's already half off.
