Poise doesn't exist in DS2 and DS3. Poise only exists in DS1. An entirely different mechanic with the same name exists in DS2 and DS3 but it is not poise.
If I tell you that a turtle is called "a dog" would it be a dog?
And it literally isn't poise. This is why you should start a game series with the first one and not in the middle or at the end.
If poise exists in DS2 and DS3 then show me video footage of you sipping Estus while ignoring stunlock instead of getting knocked out of your sip. If it exists I also would love to see you not getting stunlocked while using a straight sword vs. a dagger user. Please demonstrate your ability to be hit by your opponent and keep attacking without using an Ultra class weapon. I would love to see you get hit while running and not stop in your tracks since you insist poise exists. Since poise exists you surely can just stand there and let your opponent hit you so you can score the easy counter attack.
*edit*
What you have in DS2 and DS3 is a mechanic called Super Armor and/or Hyper Armor. It is not poise because it only works while attacking which is how Super Armor and Hyper Armor function. Poise is an innate thing. I do not have to be attacking for poise to activate. I can literally stand there and let my opponent wail on me and I will not stagger until my poise has been broken.

I started with ds1 btw, its there. Its poise. Even if it works differently.
If I handed you a poodle and told you it was a dog, but every dog you've ever seen looks like a German sheperd, does that mean the poodle isn't a dog.
It's not poise. It's Super Armor and sometimes Hyper Armor. Poise is an entirely different mechanic and is only in Dark Souls 1. Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, and Sekiro all do not have poise.
If it isn't innate it's not poise. No matter what you say to spam and derail this thread only DS1 had poise.
