How do you save Rhea?

She is the most complicated char to keep alive. Have you guys tested this? Wikidot, fextralife, and wikia all contradict themselves.

People say you have to buy all her spells (except divine blessing) or kill petrus so that she doesn't become hollow and move to duke's archives. Is that correct? Have you guys tested this? Or is it inevitable that she will either die or go hollow, so I should just buy all her stuff and not worry about her anymore?

And then it gets even more confusing with this footnote: "Killing Petrus after rescuing her may have a chance to make Rhea disappear from your playthrough."

Don't ♥♥♥♥ with Petrus until AFTER you save Rhea from the catacombs. Then cap his ass.

Easy explanation: Don't kill Petrus until Rhea arrives, if you kill him before she arrives, she and her's friends will not come forever in the game cycle you're playing. Visit Firelink Shrine and see if she had arrived with the other two dudes, If yes, then the next area reload will make her go to the Catacombs, where's she get trapped. You need to kill the 2 hollows there and speak with her, after you reload the area, she will go to the Undead Parish church, exacly where you pick up an Fire Keeper Soul and where have a big guy with a big shield. After she moves to the church, you need to kill Petrus, otherwise, Rhea will appear dead, with only an pendant in her spot, I don't remenber the reason, but I think Petrus kills her to get the special Talisman from her, and if you kill Petrus after he killed Rhea, you'll get the Talism that he stolen from her. You'll not get the talism if you kill him before he kills Rhea, so thats confirmed that Petrus kills Rhea for the Talisman. After killing Petrus, she will be safe. And one more thing, DO NOT PURCHASE ALL THE SPELLS FROM HER, If you do, she will appear dead too, with the ♥♥♥♥ loot of her. The problably explanation that I found for this to happen is: When you talk to her for the first time when she arrives in the Church, she'll say something that the only thing she knows is miracle, and would be happy to teach the player, but since you already have "learned"(purchased all her ♥♥♥♥), she will feel herself useless, and the fact that she miss Nico and the other guy that i don't remeber the name, she will kill herself, commiting suicide. I don't know why, maybe she can't hold de burden to be the reason that her's friends have turned hollow and died....

Do you really need Great Heal Excerpt? Even if you wanted Great Heal, which we both know you're not going to use, you wouldn't need the worse version of it. You're gonna carry Tranquil Walk of Peace and two stacks of Wrath of the Gods, and you're going to be damn well pleased about it. Buffs are also acceptable.

not rly. soothing sunlight and bountyful sunlight are ill use for pve bossbattles.

I do think that, after a certain period of time, she will automaticly end up going hollow. Like I said, she miss niko and the other dude, and feel guilty for the death of them.

Or my another theory, after purchased an certain number of milagres, for example, lefting only 2 miracles to buy, she'll probably go to Duke's Archive to seek more knowlede of miracles to teach to the player, but sadly, she fails and end up dying and turning hollow. It makes sense to me, when we save her, she say's everything he has to offer in gratitute is her miracles, and when we learn the most part of them, she try to learn more just for us. Its really sad...

Its true indeed, every healing miracle is totally useless in pvp, it'll take like 5 seconds to cast this trash, and you'll be back stabbed. Some are usefull when you're ganking with yours sun/white bros

if you buy all her stuff (even if Petrus is alive but before he kills her which will happen iirc after killing/visiting Bosses) she will go hollow and go to Dukes Prison (or the other way round), not commit suicide.

so don't buy all her miracles (and kill Petrus once she returned from Tomb as said)

Petrus kills her because he is an evil subject and he despises her, it's possible to get a dialogue where he tells you what he thinks of her in truth. Rhea seems to think he abandoned her cause she failed or is too weak and unworthy, so he is good.
