FWIW: I'm Not a Twitch Gamer -- but, this game may change that

For What Its Worth: I may get my money's worth out of this game. Kudos to the development team.

Started Dark Souls last week for first time (Steam Sale). Once owned, I saw all twitch -- I'm worthless at twitch. So, I tried heavy cheating (offline play) using mouse and keyboard.

Now that I'm into Dark Souls farther, I see this might be the game that gets me into "twitch gaming". The challenge seems worthy. So, I've gone over to an XBox controller (never used one). I feel like a baby learning to walk -- and not too straight. We'll see how it turns out. But for now, credit to the folks who made this game.

Playing offline. Tried XBox controller for a few hours spread over 3 days. I was "all thumbs". Started over (more than once) with mouse and keyboard and became much better at it. I am figuring out how to handle the Boss types. When I started playing, the Red Dragon seemed impossible -- not anymore. Just how a newbie is fairing, FWIW.
