Some unanswered questions

So I just finished my first play through (did anyone else kinda find that last battle anticlimactic and on the easy side?), but there are some things that I never found resolutions to. I was hoping you guys could answer.

Who was the bro that dropped the key in my cell at the very start of the game?

Where did that first bro wonder off to? The first guy you meet in Firelink who tells you about the bells. He just disappeared on me.

What happened to that lady that you first meet up by the cleric trainer? The last time I saw her, she was in the Catacombs and I had to kill her two bodyguards that had gone hollow.

Did the onion knight ever get enough sleep? I last saw him asleep and standing in a pool of toxic water in the demon ruins.

And most importantly, why did my favorite bro of all time try to stab me in the face? I'm referring to Solaire. He was all bummed out at a bonfire, then he was gone. The next time I saw him, he tried to murder me and I had to fight back. :(

You need to pay serious attention. Can't believe you dont find those missing characters. Noobs love to say "it's easy " bec they got lucky and they will die a lot the next time facing the same enemy. For lore/story of a few characters, go watch vaati's video

3. she went to the church in Undead Parish and got killed by that cleric in firelink
4.no he doesnt, he overthinks too much
5. because he got infected by a Chaos Bug that drives you crazy

Never once said the game was easy. I died many, many times. And I probably lost about 200k souls all told from lost bloodstains. I don't know how many times I just simply fell to my death in Blighttown. I'll try to get my attention to detail up to your standards on my next play through, where I'm sure I will continue to die many, many times.

That's sad about Solaire. I made it a goal to get through the game without using PC or NPC summons, but he was always there and ready to help a noob out. Thanks for the answers though.

It put me in a new game automatically. Is there any way to get back into my previous run, so I can do some more exploring?

Dont kill the last boss on your next run if you want to explore more. The game has no option to choose whether to keep exploring or go to ng after last boss. Only ds2 and ds3 have the options

Explore near firelink, you may still find that guy you're looking for (the one who told you about the bells), but be careful....

1. That was Oscar, after you get out of your cell he gives you the estus flask and the key to the first floor. When you go back to firelink shrine you will see that he has gone hollow and you will have to kill him
2. That is the crestfallen warrior. You can find him in New Londo ruins after you ring both bells of awakening. He will go hollow and be aggressive
3.She has gone to pray in front of the altar in the church in the undead parish. The church on which you fight the gargoyles and ring the first bell of awakening. To continue her quest after that you need to buy all of her miracles and her divine blessing or kill Petrus (the cleric teacher you first meet in firelink) before killing 2 more bosses. You can find her in one of the cells in the dukes archives after that
4.Yes he did. After you help him kill those thing in lost izalith you have to speak to his daughter in firelink then go to the ash lake to finish his quests (beware the feels)
5. Sadly he has gone hollow :( I f you want to save him you need to unlock the shortcut to lost izalith from the demon ruins. To do that go to the fair lady (that half spider girl that you find after killing quelaag) and give her 30 humanity. Next when you get to the demon ruins take a right before the demon firesage boss fog door and go down the root. Now since you gave 30 humanity to the fair lady you can open the door leading to lost izalith. After you open it kill all of the bugs on the other side. And boom our lord and savior solaire is alive and well. But do not go to lost izalith before you have opened the short cut and killed the bugs, that automatically failes the quest..

I think this discussion owner should put "spoiler allert" ? I got told off once for telling things like this specific, which i find very helpful for new players

Thanks for taking the time to go into that detail. I'm glad to know I can save Solaire on my next play through. I'll probably pull up a complete walkthrough to follow and find out how much stuff I missed the first time.

Oscar was supposed to be your anthitesis but FromSoft dropped the ball.

For example, if you decided to link the fire, Oscar would become the Dark Lord. And the other way around.

Damn, all these questions can be answered, and it's one of the things I love about this game.
It seems like you didn't complete Siegmeyer (Onion bro) storyline, it's pretty sad. I recomend seeing a guide online and follow it.
