help ... need some tips stuck in blightown ... weapon broke?

I am at the blightown bridge bonfire and my fully upgraded sword broke. Now this area became x2 harder ... Any way to repair my weapon ?

The smith at the basement under the Undead Parish bonfire can repair your gear. He also sells a Weapon Repair Box, so you can repair your stuff at any bonfire. I assume you are a new player and just arrived in Blighttown, so I fear the only way of repairing you gear currently is to go (walk) back to the smith under the Undead Parish Bonfire. You will get the ability to freely warp between certain bonfires later in the game, but for now, you need to walk. Be sure to buy the Weapon Repair Toolkit.
Until then I would suggest using another weapon. Don't worry, this happened to me in my first playthrough too, right in the middle of a bossfight :)

Use different weapon (some weapons are strong even without upgrades).

Or use shield+rolling to get to bottom bonfire, then go up to firelink and to smith nearby church with first bell.
