Respec
So I wasted a few levels here and there raising intelligence and my dex more than I needed to. Is there any way to respec in this game? even with a mod?

There's no way to respec in the game. You could try using some software to edit your character but that risks a softban.

Use cheat engine table, but decrease souls level with your stats, so it will be legit.

If it's your first play through; don't bother cheating(I have never modded anything in over 700 hours of Dark Souls).

Once you have played enough; use Mugenmonkey to plan your build. Don't worry about levels now, just play. You could always add more to Dex and/or Int as some weapons probably require those stats.

Don't do this. It will (almost always) get you permanently banned from multiplayer. It doesn't matter if the end result is "legit" because the servers compare your previous save with your current one and can easily detect that the stat was illegally modified (stats can never go down, after all).

If you already tried to do this, delete your character immediately and you might avoid the ban.

I was tempted but I decided not to ultimately. These points will come in handy in ng+ I thought xd

Coming from Dark Souls 3 I just thought there might be some way to respec easily thats why I asked...

there's also no real need to do that unless u wanna kinda be "competitive" to other players.
The only downside of "wrong" lvl is the increased cost per lvl advance, but the increased soul income per game advance will make that meaningless
