Divine Mace advice?
So... I currently have a Divine mace +5 that scales D-Strength C-Faith

My strength stat is currently 24 and Faith is 42. I have been focusing on my faith a lot because I really like using miracles and it has a higher scale with the mace where as strength just affects my mace. Am I holding my damage back by neglecting strength? Would I get better damage out put increasing strength to 30 or continuing to pump faith up towards 50?

Might as well go 30 strength first, the softcap stats is 40 so you will get diminishing returns with faith now

Well, if you really like using miracles, maybe you should get your faith to 50, and get the darkmoon talisman (or at least the sunlight talisman), that way you'll maximize spell power and your mace will do respectable damage as well

You'd probably be better off getting 30 or 40 str and 50 faith, then using a +15 mace with darkmoon blade or sunlight blade, it should give much higher damage than a divine or occult mace.

If anything you should stop at 27 Str not 30. That way you'll hit the Str softcap when you twohand it.
It scales decently well up to 50 Fth so I'd definitely do that. 40 Fth (or Int, for Int scaling weapons) isn't really much of a softcap for weapons that use paths like divine/magic etc, it only really softcaps "unique" weapons like Grant.

The +15 with buff will give you higher burst damage for sure, as for unbuffed it probably depends on the enemies and their defenses. I only ever used a Divine Mace in NG, it worked pretty well (and EASILY gets rid of the otherwise annoying skeletons).
Split damage really sucks in the DLC areas and you will definitely notice it. In NG it isn't that much of a big deal yet though.
