Rusted Iron Ring

Missing? I know I do not have the steam version. I play the switch version which just released for convenience. I recently made it to the Rusted iron ring after ringing the first bell. I grabbed the ring and ignored it for the time being. However after beating the moonlight butter fly and starting my decent towards blighttown i realised that the ring is gone, its nowhere in my inventory. Just curious if its my game thats bugged or its some new feature that i was unaware of.

There's an item recovery chest at firelink shrine behind where Kingseeker Frampt eventually spawns (it's the room with the large pool of water in the center). Check that first, and if it's not there I recommend going back to the undead asylum and double-checking that you didn't accidentally leave it behind.

thank you ive never lost an item so i never really knew what that chest was for i have however looked back at the spot where you getbit and its not there i will look for it when i get on it again.
