This game is amazing, it's the best one.
Don't bother with DS2, it's trash.
Not as bad as DS3
Lol ok
Literally only reason to play DS3 on PC is if you don't have PS4. Otherwise you can just buy Bloodborne and play that.
As bad as DS2 is when compared to DS1, it's still a "Dark Souls" title. DS3 is just Bloodborne with more armor and even worse magic.
I have Bloodborne too, and love DS3 on PC. So no, I just know what good games are, and DS2 is not a good game.
So the reason to play DS3 on pc is if you LIKE good DS games.
You are only comparing it to Bloodborne cause the combat is faster.
Only good thing about DS2 was PVP, I will give it that. Nothing more.
PvP is ♥♥♥♥ in all DS games.
DS3 is not a DS game.
I'm not saying that DS3 is a bad game though. It's just extremely disappointing and is not a DS game at all.
"I'm not saying that DS3 is a bad game though. It's just extremely disappointing and is not a DS game at all"
This is my opinion on DS2, we will have to agree to disagree lol
DS3 is what I wanted DS2 to be.
"PvP is♥♥♥♥♥♥in all DS games"
Then DS2 has nothing going for it lol.
DS2 is extremely disappointing too, but for different reasons. With all the issues it had, it was made by B-Team, so everyone kinda expected it to not be as good. Then Bloodborne came out and it was great too. So with Miyazaki coming back to work on DS3, I expected it to be a worthy sequel to DS1.
What we got instead is a poor excuse of a sequel where using any weapon that is slower than a straight sword is suicide, magic is literally useless with possible exception of various utility spells like fall control, poise literally not existing in the game at all, and all of the world being one giant fanservice to DS1. With the exception of fanservice part, you have to be blind not to notice that they took a lot of things out of Bloodborne and applied them to Dark Souls. This isn't necessarily bad, except that these 2 games are very different in terms of playstyle. DS is slower, more methodical, while Bloodborne is frantic and encourages player to keep attacking, even if they are wounded.
DS2 has a huge build variety, and is less linear than DS3. It's not as open as DS1 was, but it's still more open than DS3 is. DS3 is incredibly linear throughout, but it especially stands out in the first half of the game, before player reaches Anor Londo.
It also has the best DLC in the series overall, rivaling even the fan-favorite "Artorias of the Abyss" with the best dragon fight in the series with Sinh the Slumbering Dragon.
Again, opinions.
DLC for DS2 was great, rest was ♥♥♥♥.
Each to their own I'm not here for a fight.
but for me, Demon Souls, great, DS1 amazing, DS2, Nope, DS3 very good. Bloodborne, amazing, just a shame I had to buy a ♥♥♥♥ console to play it.
I still play DS1, DS3 and Bloodbore to this day and many years to come.
I hate DS2 and nothing will change that.
It could even fit well with PS4 Pro's release.
I would love that.
Are you excited for Sekiro?
