anyways this fking game is bad designed since it requires a very sensible joystick and it wont let u disable the fking walk animation

I use an XBox-360 controller and have sometimes the same problem. When i run with shield up it happens sometimes that the character changes from run to walk. Or, in combat with Lautrec i wanna go aside to avoid his attack, but the character moves not normaly, he slows down to step by step and Lautrec hits me...

DS4 rules you.

A very comfortable controller. Smaller than I expected it to be but the materials is very easy to maintain a grip on it. However, I feel this controller still needs to improve considerably to pass as a functional controller. I have had to return my first controller because it was pretty much entirely defective. The deadzones were near nonexistent, were off center on one of the analog sticks, and several of the face buttons did not function. Amazon was quick to send a new one, but the replacement does not fare much better. The buttons all function, yes, but after only a week of use, I've come to find the turbo button does not function with many of the buttons that it is supposed to, and the battery has shown severe unreliability. The LED's indicating battery life constantly show 50% charge, and the controller seemingly dies at random times, as soon as 2 hours after an overnight charge. After a week of gaming with it, the left analog stick has begun to show problem with input, notably not often registering moving the stick up and it is beginning to not register right inputs.
For now, stick with the G3 line or an Xbox 360 wired controller. If you're feeling adventurous, I'd recommend the Steam controller as well.

This gamepad you're using tends to have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up deadzones, which could easily cause this issue.

Might be a calibration issue.

Never had that problem with my x360

yeah, the controller is just bad, but ive seen this problem with dark souls on more people
im testing other games to check it

for example, state of decay 2 has walk and run animations, but my controller doesnt suck with it coz the game is well made

like dark souls requires almost a 100% of the intensity of the input if u want to run, else u walk, thats a fked up mistake of the game

My DS4 is plug-in-play with 99% of what I play, including DSR.

It is your controller, and these aren't even comparable games. Vastly different engines and everything; also DS is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc port, we all know this but DSR is much better.

And the vast majority of 'my controller don't work :cccc' posts are solved by setting your controller up through big picture and properly calibrating it. BTW, if you haven't done that, ♥♥♥♥♥♥' do it. Probably fix your problem completely.
