You make a backup save just before the boss, go in and fight.
After the fight delete your save and reload the backup instead.
Boss Rush mod? I guess it's for PTDE then. But that's cool I have that, I just have no idea how to use any mods whatsoever.
That being said, I can probably help you. How many hours do you have in the game?
Probably about 300 hours for DS1, that's including the ps3, ptde and remastered versions. I haven't been able to do any skips, except for the really easy ones. Like the catacombs drop to pinwheel and the burg skip for capra. I keep trying ro go rtsr strats but get one shot a lot of times, due to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ roll timing.
Okay. I recommend getting more practice. This game can be a real ♥♥♥♥♥ to speedrun after only 300 hours. You're still finding timing and strats. A great beginner speedrun is to go magic and cheese the bosses. It's a good way to learn speedrunning while you are formulating strats. BKH runs are the toughest because they rely on good RNG and glitches, such as the moveswap glitch. I used all the relevant skips, except the one in Seathe's library, because I just found that one to cheapen the run. Keep at it, and you'll get it.
