Best halberd?

Looking to start a halberd build because i really enjoyed the gargoyles halberd with chaos and 10 humanity.

The top choices for me right now is BKH, Lucerne and Gargoyle Halberd. I'm probably not going to be running aroud with the BKH because of how rare it is but is the lucerne better than the gargoyle halberd?

Depends on your stats actually, if you wanna go for base damage and a bit strength(32 required for bkh afaik), go for bkh, if you wanna add a bit dex to it; use lucerne(which scales C on dex), totally your call;

Plus with "i really enjoyed the gargoyles halberd with chaos and 10 humanity.", just get the base requirement on that weapon and go for chaos if you don't want to add stats on dex/strength more.

Thats what i did with the gargoyle halberd. i'm still accepting suggestions but i'd prob stick to regular halberd because of it's move set and make it chaos and prob put some points in intelligence or something

If I remember right, the Lucerne always does thrust damage so it can be quite powerful when paired with the proper rings.

Don't know if you're talking about all types of polearms or just halberds, but the best out of all is probably the great scythe. Does the most riposte damage out of any of the weapons in the game provided you have the dex for it.

best halberd is just standart halberd also gargoyles halberd infused with chaos is great bs stick too
