Can't summon my Friend, even with Password.

I am trying to summon my friend, we want to play this together. We have a password on and the settings are on Global and Unrestricted and all that yadda yadda jazz.

Why can't I see his summon sign? He's abit ahead of me in the game, but that should not be an issue, right?

Please help, that would be very appreciated.

you must be in human form and your friend must place the sign in one of the areas you have a boss. boss must be undeafeated

the sign takes a couple of seconds to show up , and cross check your setting again, it wont happpen that it wont show

I just bought the game today, so No I have not done anything PvP shady stuff. Nor had the chance to lol.

We both got the exact same settings, we're on Global with Unrestricted summon sign visibility, same settings as Dark Souls 3.

Can't see eachother, at all. My friend left because he got so frustrated at this, and Google is no help at all.

What area are you in there may ne other requirements to coop in the area. I know it is the case in some areas from the same issue

yeah you need to have the area boss alive for summon signs to show up unless you have a red one

Some areas like new londo for instance will have to have other things done as well such as opening a certain set of doors or making it to a certain area first before you can see signs

We KNOW how summoning WORKS already, we are NOT uneducated on it. We KNOW. But it does not WORK even RIGHT INFRONT of the fog gate to the GARGOYELS. It does NOT WORK.

Same problem here, trying to co-op with my friend - ingame requirements met, password set up and it only works when I summon him. He, on the other hand, can´t even see my signs. I even tried some port forwarding stuff, still nothing.

this problem still exists, I can summon my friend, friend can not summon me. there is no solution, you are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Some people are saying your steam name can't be more than 15 characters or you can't get summoned. May be worth a try.
