what the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with it's hitboxes and timings, no matter how i block or dodge half his attacks land, even after my dodge. i'll roll one of his slaps then i get up and the damage goes off, it's an absolute garbage piece of ♥♥♥♥ boss that it's gonna just take a huge amount of luck to beat i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick of dodge dodge dodge fine then one random slap just one shots me that didn't go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ close to hitting me.

It's dumb to say something in a game is broken, just because you can't manage it.
Manus is extremely easy to dodge, the only thing thats not easy to dodge without the silver pendant is the humanity circle.
You don't block, thats for casuals, you dodge in the right moment and attack in the right moment, that's how you git gud.

Something wrong with your hands, man. Manus one of the most fair and consistent from all bosses in this game. Everything is clearly readable and avoidable. Even his dark magic, if you too far from him you can use silver pendant. I highly recommend get some patience and few caps of coffee, i believe you can do it by yourself.

Stay at range, dodge his handslap backwards and hit the hand, repeat. If you stay close to him he can do a frenzy attack that is almost impossible to avoid completely. If he casts use the silver talisman to make dodging the magic easy.

his hand is the issue, usually the slap, whether im way out of it or too far in and dodge sideways its damage gets me half the time anyway, and the same with the hand swing, even dodging past it my guy will like, land on the other side of him then oof and take damage anyway asif the hitbox has a 2 second time application

Considering I have personally fought him and know first hand it is not broken, you should try to learn his timings better. He is hard to dodge at first, I struggled originally. That doesn't mean you openly call the game broken. Just because you can't do it doesn't make it the game's fault.
