How to aim crossbow with keyboard and mouse ?

You cant aim crossbows

You can only aim when lock on. You can pseudo aim with binoculars

Freeaim is a bit tricky with crossbows since it's third person, but if you fire while using binoculars, you can aim in first person. You don't get a crosshair, though.

Free aim does work, though, it will roughly shoot at the center of the screen. I already won a sniper duel with a crossbow VS a longbow user...well kinda, he eventually took out a Greatbow. I also managed to cut Kalameet's tail with a freeaim crossbow.

The crossbow will always shoot vertically at the cneter of the screen, but it will if not locked on shoot straight forward, so you have to line your character up.

If you are outside lock-on you can use the binocular, found at the end of graveyard near firelink shrine (starter area). As a new player it can be a little bit tricky to get it but there are some small YT vids about how to take it without fighting skeletons.

Once you have the binocular get some experience how to zoom in and switch to crossbow. After a while you will hit all your targets. But don´t be surprised about the low damage a crossbow does.
Crossbows have no scaling, regular bows have.

crossbows are really bad in ds1,use a bow,there is along bow in the forest and you can buy a short bow from the merchant in undead burg

Yeah. The dragon leaves you alone for the most part and you can use it to roast invaders if necessary. It has no drops either, except for the drake sword, for which you don't need to kill it.
