No Achievement for Defeating Seath?

I beat Seath a while ago, and even after offering his piece of the Lord Soul at the Lordvessel I still haven't gotten the achievement. Is there any way to fix this?

Were you on or offline when you killed him?

You will have another chance to get the achievement if you help somebody to kill Seath while being summoned.

can someone help me kill seath?

I just checked, and seem to be missing the Sorcery achievement despite having all of the sorceries except Pursuers(which IIRC isn't required). Is that now permanently missed?

Edit: I looked around online, and saw that making a new character and getting a sorcery will cause the achievement to get registered. Still don't have Seath's, but hopefully it will work on NG+. I guess there's co-op too but eh.
