Purging stone help!

When I'm cursed still.
How do I get to farm 6k souls?

the man in the first bell tower sell the stone in 3k, if that makes any better

Good old sin buddy sells them for 3k, but he only has five of them for sale and runs out after that.

i quit that playthrough since i kept falling down and i died when i got the 28k from that one gaping dragon boss

Yeah I'm taking my sweet time for remastered off and on, and while I still beat em first shot I had totally forgotten how absurd the hitboxes on the gaping dragon attacks are.

That odd comination of "Nostalgia made me forget how janky this is" plus "But Muscle memory let me beat it anyways"

Next time use murphy's law insurance and buy a purge stone ahead of time. #1 way to guaranteed never get cursed is to make it no big deal to end up cursed.

i fell off the end of the platform after the fight thinking its the way to blight town.
when i was heading there to pick them up i became cursed
i grinded for 3 hour strying to get 6k souls
i died a lot
when i finally got it i bought it
i went back to depths to get to blight town
i got cursed again
i rq and got a new game up

Before Blighttown a decent area to grind is the church. I go from the blacksmith bonfire, clear out the church completely, and the walkway to the side of it. You don't get a ton of souls but it's pretty quick to do and easy to grind.

The ghost attackers in the forest are a nice farm, but you have to buy the Crest of Artorias and not join the Forest Covenant to do so. Be sure to open up the illusory wall bonfire next to the doorway for best results.

yeah and u can just lead them to jump off the clift, all 4 of them, it will be near 10k for one round

Also in the Great hollow in Blighttown there is an enemy that drops purging stones but that one is very impractical to farm.
