NPCs stopped invading
I couldn't get Leeroy or Kirk to invade with one character, so I started another. I figured I screwed up somewhere. Kirk invaded in the Depths, but not the Demon Ruins.

But now I'm getting no NPC invasions on my new character as well. Anyone else experiencing this?

Did you kill the area boss?

Leeroy invaded me when I was by the boss door. They are somehow not in a hurry, it seems.

Didn't kill the boss. Waited for a long time.

I'm going to go into offline mode tomorrow and see if that helps.

I'm human. I got invaded many times by real players, just never the NPCs I was looking for.

I actually had the same bug with kirk in the depths and in lost izalith (the area before the demon boss), he just didnt invade me for whatever reason

I can't get kirk to invade in the demon ruins and I couldn't get the guy to invade me in the painted world (the painted world one might be because an invader flipped the lever and the cut scene happened but idk for sure)

There is an invasions timer. After a human player invaded you, it takes about 15 minutes to get invaded again. And this counts for NPC invaders too.
Solution: use Dried Finger.
Or: Quit and reload.
Or: Set the game to offline mode, until you are done with the NPC invader.

To get Kirk in Demon Ruins, the best is to start from first bonfire and run the way down. He will invade a few steps behind the first Capra Demon.
