144Hz option
What's the point of the setting going past 60Hz if the game wont ever go past it? I got super excited when it let me select 144Hz but the game doesnt go over 60. That alone would have made the purchase worth it.

the game was coded for 30 and then hacked via fixed time step to run at 60 for the new gen toasters (even though the xbone can't handle it). it will never be able to run that fast.

I'd set it at 120Hz, or just keep it at 60Hz. Atleast at 120Hz, its a multiple of 60 which means less chance of runt frames.

Not an issue with G-Sync (assuming you're not using DSR since G-sync turns itself off when that is being used).

You'll still have more Hertz. Which some people find causes less eye-strain, and less ghosting.
There's a difference. I can assure you.

Your fps can be 60, while your screen outputs at 144 Hz.

You're refering to pixel response time, not refresh rate. Response time reduces ghosting and cleans up moving images. A 240Hz monitor with a 16ms response time is still going to have tons of ghosting.

I am, I just got excited when I saw it allowed me to select 144. Oh well, character action games like Devil May Cry feel incredible at high refresh rates, would have loved to try a souls game like that.

It removed screen tearing for me on my 144hz monitor. I don't have G-sync or freesync.
