Status Symbol Under Stamina Bar

I've noticed that when I'm summoned in my friend's world I have a bit less health (885 as phantom, 938 at normal) which is depicted as a balcked off portion of my health bar, and I have a blue shield like symble with a down arrow with the rest of my status symbols.

Does anyone know what this is? I haven't found anything on it on my brief google search

Pretty sure it means you've been scaled down to their lvl

the blue shield symbol meant in ds3 that you are summoned using a password. The downscaling happens when you are too overleveled to be summoned by him without a password
