It's not as bad now that the FPS are stable but it's still annoying. I suggest buying a stock of purple moss, you'll need it. The merchant lady near the entrance of the depths sells them.

Blighttown isn't that bad, it's more of a meme for PTDE

You don't really need the Purple Moss Clumps, poison is just a minor inconveniece. Toxic though, that's a huge pain and you'll need Blooming Purple Moss Clumps to cure that (or a quick sprint to the nearest bonfire.

Thankfully, the enemies that inflict toxic on you don't respawn and drop moss too, so it's not all bad. You even find armor with high poison resist in the area.

yeah buy like 10 blooming moss and some normal ones from that skelly lady just for safety
