No achievement when steam is offline?

I played DS Remastered when steam is offline, I rang the second bell in Quelagg's Domain but there is no achievement there. Any solutions?

It's fair imho, it's a trade off to prevent piracy.
When offline, Steam doesn't record your playtime or achievements.

A couple games I had to play offline so I could mod them proper and not have Steam ♥♥♥♥ up (auto-update) the game.

Always go online in steam.
Sign out of Steam Friends and nobody will be notified when you launch a game.

In game, go online as well, but join the way of the white covenent to minimize invasions.


tl;dr
Sign into steam.
Kill Quelagg again in NG+ or do a new game speed run w/ the master key to get the achievement.
