Yes.
Above clerics there are stairs. It is possible to jump from stairs on top of the roof of the building and then jump on same level where bird nest is.

Yup. If you go there before resting at the Firelink bonfire, the fight with Stray demon will be glitched, allowing you to kill him twice and getting two slabs right from the start :)
