Every Invader is a Twink
Wtf was the point of the weapon summon changes if it doesn't do anything?

Just because it's a twink doesn't mean its got maxed out weapons.

Its your weapon level +4/5 (debatable). If you picked up anything "unique" or "dragon" your level is already at +5. If you picked up the lightning spear in sens fortress, it's +10.

Most of the invaders are just twinks, and they just one shot you. Some of them are good though and its fun fighting with them.

I switch weapon when seeing an underpowered player. But what can we do? %50 of hosts are also twinks.

Well i believe the reason for the extranomous amount of twinks is that there have already been 3 dark souls games and one bloodborne game, and this is a re-release of the first one, so this time around people know exactly how everything works, and build accordingly.

It's not a terribly fun experience for any new entry player to the series on the opposite side but i guess it was to be expected ?

What is the point of maintaining level 50 if your weapon matchmaking is +15?

Yea, why not go 70 or 80 if you want to invade.

You can always summon people, from my experience people usually "twink" as they invade with the idea that they are going to be ganked 100% (which is fine since it is an invasion) so you know it helps them out in 2-4v1 situations.

Besides, it's an invasion. It's supposed to make you afraid
And?

The reason every invader is a twink is because every host has 1-3 summons. Without twinking it is considerably more difficult to even scrounge up a fighting chance without using the most meta of builds. Twinking gives us a chance to try out different weapons or just have a fighting chance against multiple people.

1 Twink vs 3 newbies is honestly a lot more fair of a fight than you are making it out to be, infact I would even go so far as to say that unless that twink is using something like a Gold Tracer then it is probably still largely in favor of the 3 newbies.

The reason for this is because (as long as the game is populated) you will invade players closer to your level first, therefor you will end up having to deal with less armour, less health, less potential for 1 shots, and less magic spam the lower level you are. Also level 50 is around the level that people get to places like Sens Fortress and Anor Londo which are arguably some of the most fun places for invades in DS1/DSR (at least in my oppinion).

It's also supposed to be something you can defeat, not something that takes 3 damage and one shots you.

The only one I was able to beat was a giant dad build, but only cause I had 2 people summoned at the time. He still took a while to take down. The Dark Bead build 1 shot me before I could even react.
