Ive beaten DS3 and all its bosses, never played DS1.

Literally beat ornstein and smough on my third try naked with a +6 zweihander. Whoopdie ♥♥♥♥ing doo. What a complete joke. Centipede demon? Literally just stood at its feet and it the only thing i had to dodge was its jump attack. Bed of chaos? What even is the point of that? Just a stupid gimmick to make you die a few times but no real skill involved in it? The list goes on. These bosses are honestly pathetic.

I hope four kings and artorias are actual fights with attacks that need to be dodged. So far a big waste of 40$.

Only reason i played the game was because of the thousands of people who always spout memes about how DS1 is so hard and ornstein and smough are the hardest boss of the series. Like i said before it seems like a big marketing stunt to sell copies now.

It's not a hard game, and it only has that reputation because it's most people's first Souls game, whereas you already played other games in the series so it won't apply to you. If you rubbed two braincells together you'd realize this.

DS1 is way more than difficulty, if you are only playing these games for the difficulty (which is in itself a dumb meme), then you're wasting your time. Do challenge runs if you want a challenge, but if you are crying about Anor Londo archers and not being able to warp between bonfires that really just means you don't care about the world and level design and just wanted a boss rush, like DS3 can become with a million bonfires everywhere and free warping, reducing the world to irrelevancy and taking out any real consequence of dying. But yes, the bosses in 3 are much harder.

Playing supposedly hard games because i like challenging games is a dumb meme? Good one man.

Its not really a bragging thread, because ive seen people who can beat this game without taking a single point of damage ETC. More like a venting thread its basically 40$ wasted on a run-back simulator any time you die to a suprise insta kill gimmick like the bed of chaos. Sorry to hurt your wittle feewings on your favorite game.

Contine to tell me how bad a nearly 8 year old game is like I dont already know it.
If you would have played this game back when it was current, you would have understood the challenge. Because Darksouls was something new that a lot of people hadn't experienced before.
And ofcourse the game wont be as challenging for you. You literally said you already played through Darksouls 3 and Bloodborne. So why do you act so surprised? None of the soulsborne games are a challenge to someone who understands the game.
I mean I can literally get to Anor Londo on DS1 In like 1 hour or some ♥♥♥♥.

The fact youre literally on my profile sifting through my screenshots is like a bloodstain from your butthurt.

And if you spent a bit more time doing your screenshot stalking you would see i always use fire and 2h weapons in my souls games.

I do agree that Dark Souls III had harder bosses. Darkeater Midir, Nameless King, Dragonslayer Greataxe to name a few that I struggled with. But this game also has a couple of hard bosses. Manus is pretty tough on New Game+ cycles.

I would consider Ds3 harder in the sense that everything is much more fast-paced, but Ds1 can be very punishing in some areas. Four Kings in NG+ is a good example.

Four Kings definitely gave me some trouble, they hit really hard on NG+ cycles. The Artorias fight was pretty difficult because he hits like a truck if you make any mistakes and his lunging flip attack can be hard to dodge. Sif is alright if you keep your guard up and your're patient. But if nothing else gives you trouble, Manus definitely will. His range is really long and his dark sorceries are a pain and can one shot you.
