Please god, let it be true.
Apparently, you can skip Capra Demon if you have the master key. Is this true?

Yes. And Gaping Dragon. You can skip Lower Undead Burg, the Depths, and Upper Blighttown.

Still recommend poking your head into those areas. Griggs is in Lower Undead Burg if you're inclined to try sorcery and the Large Ember is in the Depths.

This is my first time really playing DS1 and I didnt have an issue with capra? Why not just kill him?

It'S true, but listen to McDanCDR. You will need that ember, at least on your NG.
Plus there are several ways to cheese this guy, you don't need a real 1on3 with him and the dogs.

If you really don't wanna fight Capra, you can cheese him with firebombs.

If you skip the Capra: you won't meet the Pyromancer teacher in the Depths , also can't get the Large Ember.
Only killing the Capra can give you the key to the Depths.

Go to new londo from firelink shrine and then through the other door on the right. You can also go through drake valley to get to the same spot if you don't have the master key. From there, you'll see the cave into blighttown.

stand on the left side at the beginning of the bridge and lunge bombs over the gate, sometimes you hit and kill the dogs (you might even hit capra demon himself)

There is a door below firelink shrine that opens up to valley of drakes if you have the master key. Also I love Rose.

Did you know you can just huck firebombs over the door through the roof of capra room to kill him? Unless they removed it for remaster. Which would be silly.

Like others said, don't skip Capra, the Large Ember is way too important. You don't have to bother with the Depths other than that.

I feel happy and sad at the same time.... Literally 20 Min wasted trying to get to the stairs to plunge him.
