I don't know about anyone else - but I'd rather spend $20 towards a new game that I want than on a patch to a game that I already own - especially one that fixes nothing and actually reintroduces bugs and player hacks they already had fixed. Perhaps I'm weird for thinking this way. Oh well. . .

Most people buy it for the community and the increased playerbase, since even before the delisting, the original was pretty dead.

So buy it for a community which will be dead in a couple of weeks anyways? The ethics behind delisting the old game is screwy. I'm betting they'll also shut down the servers to the old game soon to try to force players to spend another $20 if they want to play. As long as people support scummy practices in the software industry, the software industry will take advantage of it. They could care less about their players. They only want your wallet.

I only bought this game for the playerbase, not the actual game itself. I have my own reasons for playing while you have yours alright.
And you claimed that I evaded question about new bugs. I ask again. So you play favorites? Bandai Namco allowed to conduct bad practises, such as releasing broken mess and not patching it. Right?
Ptde had 89% positive review and 2 million sales at least, unlike battlefront 2, people loved the broken mess

I play what I want to play, ok. Games like Fallout, Borderlands, Overwatch (Stopped because of toxic Playerbase), Bioshock, Skyrim, Dark Souls of course. I make my own decision with my purchases, hell I didn't even know Dark Souls was a popular game before I bought it (Was 12 at the time).

And in a few years people will buy it again if they like it, which was the case with the remaster. And of course they want your wallet, why would they care about the players?

DS3 still has around 10k players on a daily basis, and some claim it is even "Worse" than the original (Not my opinion, but many people have said that). DS2 SOTFS was popular as hell way before DS3 and that game had quite the backlash when it came to the release. From what I'm seeing right now, this game won't die until a new soulslike that is just as good as these games comes out with good PVP. That's just how it is.

Oh, you are so indie, rebellious and original. I play Divinity2, Tales of Maj Eyal, Kingdom Come, Total War: Warhammer, KeeperRL. This makes me special af and changes everything.

I don't play favorites, if anything, I hate Bandai Dickco for delisting the original and I hate Bandai Dickco for always failing to handle PC ports. If I do play favorites, it's From Software, CD Projekt Red, and Monolith Soft (NOT THE LOTR version, the Xenoblade one). I only bought this game for the playerbase, that is all.
Some past fixes taken out, no current bugs fixed, doesn't look much better, and no new content. If they added even a bit of new content, it'd feel more like a DLC and maybe worthwhile. But that's actually work. Why work when fanboys will just give them free money?

It's $20... That's like 2 beers and a tip while you drink yourself lonely at a bar wishing someone would talk to you. Instead, you could be here... With an active playerbase and a crappy demaster, having a bit of fun.

For me in my country it was exactly as one litter of medium quality rum, a 3 litter coca-cola and and high quality pack of cigarretes.

(?)
Do i smell communism

Should I remind you that original still has no official patch? Do you agree that high rating was the result of a work of one modder unrelated to dev team? Because I have seen you argued with this and tried to belittle that modder, while glorifying dev team for paid patch.

I respect the modder's work fixing the original game, which was unplayable. However, I DON'T like hearing from people that the modder did a better job than the remaster, those people should take off the nostalgia glasses and see that while the modder did an absolutely amazing job modding the original, it was still unoptimized in certain areas, (Hell the modder himself in the .ini admitted that the mod wasn't exactly optimized to the utmost when it came to frame rate.).

Plus while today's patch isn't noteworthy, it should still let you know that the devs ARE working on updating this game, whether good or horribly done. I find it best to be the judge of their work, rather than immediately see remaster and go "Original is better no matter what, ♥♥♥♥ the new devs, and ♥♥♥♥ from since I didn't realize QLOC made this and I gotta put the blame somewhere."

You speaking like Bethesda wouldn't push payed mods without free Skyrim remaster.
you speak like the remaster was actually free

no it required you to own ever single DLC which including the game cost over $80+ at the time

Well, after 6 years big developer team made something a little bit better than one man in one hour. What else in the news? Right, unpatched original and scummy developer practices.

From had no clue how to handle a PC port, they said it right off the bat when we petitioned for its release (Reason is likely because Japan has a very limited market when it comes to the PC). I would doubt they would know how to update said PC port as well. Besides, this is a remaster, which was built SPECIFICALLY to be optimized for next gen consoles, and did it follow it's purpose? It sure as hell did, with the frame rate fix and the majority of MAJOR issues with the game itself (Both PVE and PVP, like Blighttown fps). I doubt this actually took 6 years of dev time, I would bet 1-2 years.

Remaster included all DLCs aswell. You thought you would just get all DLCs for free?

Legendary edition were the only ones able to get the Remastered for free. Anyone who just bought the original and DLC exlusively were pretty much told to ♥♥♥♥ off.

Yeah but it was also cheaper to just buy the remaster than the original game + dlc(dlc which never went on sale)

Also using Skyrim as a quote for free game practices is stupid when really need to quote tthe dodgy things they have done or the fact they re release the game full price on every single form of system they can find
