What's the point in invading?

Why even bother when you always end up invading the same gank squads over and over and over again? What's even the point when you're dead before you can roll?

When you burn a humanity at a bonfire, you choose to allow yourself to be invaded in exchange for being able to summon help. You consent to invasion the moment you restore your humanity. Gank squads exploit this and ruin the entire experience, camping on spawn spots to farm invaders who have no chance.

Yes, sometimes you can outsmart gank squads. The problem comes when they block off your ability to move from where you spawn to the point where it's better to let them kill you so you can see if you get someone else on another invasion. I don't have a problem fighting a host with phantoms, I have a problem with people who deliberately exploit the game's match making to farm invaders.

What's the point? KILLING THE GANK SQUADS! Go duel in Oolacile Township, and don't invade in the damned forest.

You mean they know where you are going to spawn, form circle around you and instantly drop you dead?

yea invasion fun is dead since 90% of ppl is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who can not even pass the bosses or areas with one phantom...
its like i remember how i invade ppl in DS1 and DS2 and it was full of fun but the ♥♥♥♥ totaly become in DS3(mby cuz this game become a meme and have solid graf)
invading now its a pain in the ass

gang squads
healings and other ♥♥♥♥
sad that there is no some kind of covenant that gives you invade with another red phanrom in the world where is the more then 1 player

I wish pvp was a seperate thing from the base game.

invaders wile i will go throw the story is the mostly fun part of the game and i dont gona loos it
i can use torrents edition for offline gameplay you know
but i still monitor the threads and news and mby soon there will be some fix frome this stuff and u can buy it

You can now log in and out of online, for some reason. Maybe because it was too hard for people to just run off a cliff after kindling bonfires when they want to play online?

And the moment you invade, you consent to the possibility of being slain by the host and whatever help he has. It's no different than an invader hiding amongst enemies. Don't like the thought of being farmed? Don't invade.

That's true. But farming invaders pretty much defeats the point of invading. Getting 4v1'd to death without even being able to move does jot make for a good PvP system.
