Keyboard camera movements

hey guys,

i recently got the game and i've configured it to move the camera using the keyboard (you can do that by going into key bindings and selecting 'keyboard + mouse alt' at the top, and it gives you alternate controls for the camera).
the problem is when i try to move the camera using the keys the movement is really really slow and it's unplayable. i've used the same controls layout for ds1, ds2 and ds3 and it worked every time.
any idea if there's a fix for the camera speed out there by now? i did tweak the camera speed settings to max but it has no effect.
