and it should fix the high refresh rate problem!
1. install this https://www.monitortests.com/forum/thread-custom-resolution-utility-cru it is a monitor overclocking app
2.after installed you will have 4 exe open the CRU.exe
3. there is detailed resolution click on add
4.it will open another window click on timing on top and select automatic lcd standard
5. in the bottom put 60 HZ refresh rate.
6. click ok then select the new resolution option and clikc again ok
7. restart pc
8. right click desktop go on display settings
9. go to advanced display settings
10. go down and go display adapter properties
11. click on monitor and screen refresh rate select 60 hz
That way you can use your settings as well!
Could it put in some unnecessary risk my hardware? I mean, they should fix this, right?
this is a really deep issues with a ridicoulous windows "feature" that overimposes itself over everything to change your resolution for fullscreen applications, and they removed the ability to turn it off so youre going to have to go to the windows registry editor and change one of the values so that you can go to the file executable propretes to disable the fullscreen optimization for that application. youre welcome.
