Souls games best to worst

I haven't played enough to formulate a list but interested in what poeple think in 2018.

Lets stick to these games:

Nioh
Demon's Souls
Bloodbourne
Dark Souls
Dark Souls 2
Sark Souls 2 SOTFS
Dark Souls 3

You can rank the DLC as well if you are so inclined.

DS2 > DS3 > DS2 SotFS > DS > Bloodbourne > Demon Souls > DS Remastered > Nioh

Dark souls, dark souls 2 sotfs and ds2 , dark souls 3, dark souls 3 bloodborne, demons souls, nioh.

I won't rank Nioh because it's too different, it's basically Ninja Gaiden with RPG elements and weighter combat more than Souls.

Dark Souls = Bloodborne > Dark Souls 3 > Demon's Souls >>>>>>>>>>>>> Dark Souls 2

Everything about bloodborne is a 10/10. The lore, graphics, atmoshphere, combat. One of the best games this generation.

DS1 > BB (Really close though, BB has better PvE but the PvP is terrible) > DS3 > DeS > DS2

Didn't play SOTFS because DS2 was just so awful in pretty much every way.

Nioh is too hard to rank. The combat is amazing but the level design, story, and overall presentation is garbage. If I really had to probably between DeS and DS2.

I agree that Nioh would be around DeS, probably after it.
The combat in Nioh is immensely enjoyable, I wish the game had some kind of arena/boss rush mode without the levels (it could have after DLC, I haven't played the DLC)

I agree that Nioh would be around DeS, probably after it.

There's the abyss but it's got more going on with it than just boss rush. It's okay. Personally I still would have just rather had more straight forward levels and maybe a huge rework of the gear system.

I get how some people can have nostalgia for DeS, and it's not bad but truly it's like DS1 just less polished and less balanced & more disjointed.

BB and Nioh are on my todo list so I left them off.

This is indeed, the correct ranking.

The only caveat I can see with DS2 is that it kind of had the most content for PvP. Other games may have had elements of PvP better than individual elements of DS2, but as a complete package I will give DS2 credit for being the best PvP souls. That's why it's my most played.
Other than JUST PVP, every single other element makes DS2 the weakest in the series.
