Go here

C:\Users\ Your_Name \Documents\NBGI\DARK SOULS REMASTERED

And save the folder somewhere else. Do this before every play session.

I play offline all the time but therefore missing that nice (random) coop. Personally i am really not interested in pvp but coop. Until the password isn´t fixed or devs are able to get rid of all that cheats i have to stay offline.

You don’t have a backup file save? If you restore it you shouldn’t have trouble

might be a redundant question but i have

C:\Users\ Your_Name \Documents\NBGI\DARK SOULS REMASTERED\some random numbers\the .sl2 file

do save the entire folder starting with the "some random numbers" part or just that .sl2 file?

Copy NBGI folder and paste some where, and you are done.

Just FYI, there's a program on Nexus that automatically backs up your saves every 5 minutes. Easier than backing up yourself. ;)

Honestly, right now nothing is safe. Devs are flipping out and banning people for god knows what so using third party soft during the game might get you flagged.

Hey, after remaking the same character twice after being egg headed/cursed last night, I wrote a batch script to backup my stuff every 5 mins. Technically what it does is goes to my Username's Save Location for Dark Souls Remastered, then it deletes any current saves. It then makes a backup of the saves folder and waits for 300 second(5 mins), and then deletes it and creates a new one. That way I always have 1 save every 5 mins, so if anything happens, I can stop the game and stop this script with a CTRL - C and restore my game. It's just a simple script that suites me just fine. You'd, of course, change the username and you'd have to have 7-zip installed for it to work. It doesn't matter where you save the file, but make sure it's called something.bat or it won't execute as a batch file. So anyway, hope this helps someone out there a little:
