Game doesn't launch
I've just bought the game and installed it. Then i went to lauch it and it comes up preparing to launch DARK SOULS™: REMASTERED and stops.
Any ideas on how to fix this i have tried verifying game files and reinstalling but still isn't working.

If the game dosnt start at all.
1. Restart your Computer. If that dont helps:
2. Get all C++ Runtime enviroments from the microsoft webpage and install these (even 32bit ones). If that dont helps:
3. Reinstall the game, if that dont helps:
4. Coud still be an issue with drivers: update/reinstall all, use DDU for graphics driver remove. If that dont helps:
5. Test if any other programm blocks the exe from runing, firewalls, antivir, MSI afterburner and so on. Most important anything wich has an overlay of some sort or is hardware related. If that dont works:
6. E-Mail the Support, if that dont works:
7. Wait for a patch, if that dont works or you dont want to:
8. Refund.

i reinstalled the game and veriified the game twice
I think is problem the register of windows sorry my english is trash i know xD
I launched it today, but I don't understand why this is the issue...

I unplugged my screen from the computer, so that it detect no screens, then while it is unplugged, I started the game with steam (press simply enter on your selected game), and when I plugged the screen again, the game had launched

This sounds stupid however it fixed my issue the game didnt want to launch with my monitor resolution set to 2560x1440 so i changed it to 1920x1440 and the game launched instantly.
Try to install windows again i can play when i do it
try starting without any HDMI cable attached. it sounds silly but then dark souls starts every time for me now.
Re-download Microsoft C++ 64bit - worked for me today (26.04.2020)
I had the game installed on my (D:) drive where it would not launch, i uninstalled and re-installed onto my (C:) drive and it launched fine.

I'm not sure if it was because the game needs to be installed on the same drive as the operating system, or because my M.2 drive is faster than my SSD. Maybe it needs to be on the same drive as the Microsoft C++ redistributables.

Either way if you have the ability to try installing on another drive give it a shot.
